dirty feet....

I can't go to bed with dirty feet. Especially in the summer when I wear shoes only when absolutely necessary, which is pretty much at work (I don't even wear them driving to or from work), I tend to get some pretty dirty feet. But there is no way I can peacefully go to bed knowing my toesers are black. Thankfully Annie just got me some beautiful olive oil scrub for my birthday, and now I given my feet a little scrub, and in doing so make the bathtub an oil slick, before I tuck in.
This has nothing to do with Xave and Bri working on the floor in the back room, but I am playing around with images....

Whelmed.

Can you just be whelmed? I know this is a classic movie quote - well actually not a "classic" movie because the movie is actually from the late 90's which puts it in a different time frame altogether, but you know what I mean.

Let me answer my question with an answer. As I googled the movie I found that actually, you can be "whelmed" and, in all honesty, it means the same thing as overwhelmed. That seems dumb. But I guess it's kind of like being excited and being over-excited. Same idea, yeah?

OK anyway, here's my point. So far today I've had 2 different jobs and had 2 different places to live. It was like this a:1 --> b:1 --> b:2 --> a:2. Is that confusing OR WHAT? You don't even want to know how long it took me to write that formula. I have about 134 other things to do right now.

Needless to say I am feeling whelmed. This morning I was feeling OVERwhelmed, and Tese and Kara were laughing at me, but things have calmed down since then. So now I'm just whelmed. But if whelmed means the same thing as overwhelmed than maybe I am underwhelmed?

What I mean is that if I could alter this picture I would change my face to a straight line, or maybe a crooked smile... but definitely not a frown. I might furrow my brow a bit too.

You get it? Kind of like, little fish in a big... whale's mouth...

Yellow Bow there in the corner

What's better to do on a sunny summer day than make a twig wreath with a pretty yellow bow?

I don't know.

Oh what's that.. can you hardly see it in this picture?! I didn't say I was a professional wreath maker, for heaven's sake. The first ones are always the smallest.

Virtual Tour

Welcome today ladies-

A (gasp) sunny morning in Stowe found me chatting with our Annie on the phone. This got us chatting about our blog. This got us chatting about cashola.

You may begin to notice, as you direct your attention to our starboard (that's right, for all you landlocked folks) sidebar that there could be some ads. That is... if anyone wants us. Any questions regarding that can be directed toward moi, I won't bore you with the details (that I know, anyway) in our blog in case someone else should stumble upon it.

One thing, though, is if ads do come, we the writers can't so much be clicking on them. So control your pointer fingers would ya!?!

Won't need this outfit today :)

LOOK (i'm talking about food again)

WOAH.

I consider myself to be a professional sweet tooth. I spend hard-earned time and money investing my dollars and teeth into all things sugary. I laugh in the face of dentists who say "usually at your age we are more concerned about gum disease"... HAH... four cavities later (and that is just within the past three months)... I think I have found it.

The cookie of my dreams.

I know, I know. It sounds crazy. How can I even say that? I have had some insanely good cookies. Great Harvest Bread Co. (Pine St., Burlington), Vermont Country Deli (Exit 2, Brattleboro)... crazily delicious.

But thanks to Nie, I made these dynamite circles of love with my own two hands. If you have not yet tried her peanut butter cookies then I do declare that you drop everything and smoosh them together.

Holy Cow.

Yum.

This is me, bowing to the cookie (and the non-rain filled sky).

Oh, and Annie, those are your new chairs. You likey?
